The trip was nothing of what I expected! I am 25 years old and had aspirations of reaching out to the lost and taking as many pictures as I could... but God opened my eyes to the true need of His children and why Living Water Carolinas was in Liberia! Words cannot describe the way God has changed my view on life and what I do with it. Feelings of joy, anger, shame, and even dismay ran through me simultaneously as the holy spirit led us on to where his work is needed to be done. I really did not want to leave due to the close bond I made with the missionaries as well as the natives in the area where we stayed.
