Bobby has spent his professional life in the business of sales. Born and raised in Greenville, SC, he started working in his family's sporting goods store, then went into textile sales, and finally into commercial real estate where he has been for the past 12 years. He is currently a partner in the Greenville office of Langston-Black Real Estate. Due to this sales-driven career path, the needs of others have always been his main focus. However, this focus isn't only apparent at the office. He is very involved in the community and works closely with many local organizations. As a member of Brookwood Church, he went on a well water mission trip to Honduras and was astounded by the number of people in need of life's most basic necessity-- water. "Nothing can live without water...it is a basic need...and clean water is a must for everyone in order to live a normal life span and to help fight off disease," said Bobby. "We Americans seem to take so much for granted, so giving fresh water to those without is a wonderful blessing to me. And with Water of Life's mission statement of sharing Jesus Christ with people who don't really understand why we are there helping them and showing them love, I am delighted and excited to be able to serve and raise funds for such a worthy ministry."
